Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your WineMenu.ai account and the personal data tied to it is from inside the app:
- Open WineMenu.ai.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
This permanently removes your account and your sign-in identity — including any information provided by Apple, Google, Facebook, or email sign-in (such as your name and email address). It cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data through our Contact page. Please write from, or reference, the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request. We remove the account within 30 days of a verified request.
What is deleted
- Your account record and sign-in identity (Apple / Google / email).
- Your name and email address as held for your account.
- Your preferences and marketing choices.
- Your subscription’s link to your identity (billing is handled by the App Store; manage or cancel a subscription there).
What is anonymized (not deleted)
Your order/tasting history and scan data are anonymized rather than deleted: they are stripped of any link to your account and kept only as de-identified, aggregated wine and pricing data to keep the shared database accurate. Because this data is no longer connected to your identity and cannot be re-associated with you, it is not personal information, and we retain it.
